At WrongWayRc we have the Cellpro 4S refurbished chargers with the 6 month factory warranty one for $39.99 or two for $73.99 (USA Delivered) limited supply deal. This sale will not be listed on our website so you need to pm me here or call us at the office as we can take Pay Pal, Visa, Master or Discovercard. If you call or email at the contacts below tell us you saw the sale here.

    386.308.1484

    [email protected]

This price is for the charger USA DELIVERED, we can get no more than two in a Priority Mail flat rate envelope for the special ship price.

If you need an FMA balance board it can go with the shipment, $8.99 a piece.

    Revolectrix

We can also make a custom power lead to go from the Cellpro to your balance lead, JR, JST-XH, Cellpro or 3 pin Mini Deans. These are custom order/length.

FMA, may or may not have the Refurbished 4S on their site again. they were scraping the barrel to get this order to us and even if they do list them again... the count is low according to their Sales Manager Jamie.

The last batches they sent us have the regular alligator clamps to grab on to a battery. I asked them about it and they said it is what they have, the pull apart bullet/alligator clamps are all gone. With a little solder and a 4mm bullet they can be modified. Note that the picture below is the ones that they used to have with detachable alligator clips.

For anyone that has not heard of this charger, they do A123 or Lipo batteries.

For A123 it is auto detect and will go up to 4 amps depending on your battery size/needs. For lipo it will do 1, 2, or 3c with settings from .25 up to 4 amps (.25 increments)

The 4S was the predecessor to the current lineup with the Multi 4 which does the above plus unbalanced A123, NIMH, Nicad and lead acid batteries... again, up to 4 amps. We stock those at WWRC on the site and are currently out of stock till next week.

Manny will tell you that the FMA charge program is one of the best in the industry. I sell what I believe in.

Without having to look through the site, how many batteries will it charge at once?

I was putting the custom balance tap fuse ports on my 40% plane yesterday and verified what the FMA tech guy has promised me...

To charge two A123's at once with the two batteries hooked to the receiver (there has been a common ground issue where this was not able to be done), anyway.... I can now charge both batteries at the same time with two of these 4S chargers, all that I needed to do was to use two 12v power sources. Once you do that the common ground issue goes away.

Now when I want to charge my 40% all I will do is to hook up the two chargers on two 12v batteries and I can be out to fly really quick.

Kyle you had asked why use A123.... Here is a good reason, I can charge a pack and put around 500 mah back in it in 15 minutes. For me now, when I come down from the first flight, the plugs go into the fuse ports and it is full again in 7 or so minutes so while I am refueling and BS'ing I am always full.

You can put 500 mah back in a liion but you will wait....and wait....and wait...

Another thing, I was playing with a 2300 pack last week on the Cellpro powerlab 8. I set the discharge for 15 amps... at a 1000 mah depleted, roughly half a pack.....I noted the voltage and then set the charger to monitor....

The difference in the voltage under 15 amp load and resting was .2v I would love to get a hold of some Liions to do the same test..... Bueler... Bueler..

Gravy do you use any A123 batteries ? They are really nice and charge in a few minutes . I like to charge at the field while i put the wings on and get gassed up .I know with the old Lion i would have to charge in the morning before i went to the field and it would take hours to get them charged up .

    Sold the last two today.

Any interest in any more of these and I will try to get another batch. I need to have demand for a dozen chargers to do another order. I am told that FMA may only have one or two dozen remaining to be offered...then gone for good..

To get more in the new price would be $40 with free shipping on one charger and $73 and free shipping on two chargers shipping to USA address.

I still do have these cellpro chargers in stock that can be sold with my combo deals here:

    http://teamflyingcircus.com/forum/f58/wrong-way-rc-a123-cellpro-battery-combo-deals-5404/

Any interest start a list here.
