No, wont be any Chinese on these..sorry.

FYI, the plane in the vid was built and covered in 4 days....it then took a day to stuff it with servo's engine radio and setup. They can be built pretty quick...

I am waiting on a quote from the cutter on material.... So I have no listed price yet...

I can say that the short kits will not be as much as you think...because they will be ribs, plans and key cnc fuse/tail parts...

What will be required that is not in the short kit is all sheeting, all sticks, wing tube and receiver, fuse tubes....

I am looking at an option on the fuse tubes, those are easily accessible, the wing tube and receiver is what I have difficulty with. It is easier for the customer to get it straight from TNT along with the landing gear.

Does anyone have a line on phenolic wing tube on a manufacturer level? If I can make it reasonable I will look at offering it as an add in.

Here are some pictures of the second prototype in the bones.

The short kit will have the same wing ribs, what will be different will be the interlocking 1/8 ply center section that carries to the light ply that gives rigidity all the way back to the tail. Also there will be interlocking 1/8 ply that carries forward to the nose/chin area of the plane.

The fuse gets it's strength from two 1/2 inch by 45 inch fiberglass tubes that will lock into the lite ply up to the back of the wings and carries forward in to the wing center section. Hardwood rails finish up the front to box out the center section for strength.

The plans are updated and the cutter gets the wood next week. I am anticipating the CNC parts to arrive here about the week of FX3D in Jax. (Feb 24) Shipping to customers is anticipated the week of March 1.

    Short kit consists of;

    Build plans
    All CNC wing ribs
    CNC ply wing center section
    CNC ply fuse aft section
    CNC Ply nose section

Below is what wood material is required to finish the plane. Also it requires a
1 1/4x36inch wing tube and receiver for the build. Fuse tube is .505x45inchx2 ea fiberglass tubes.

This is a big plane with 2030 square inches of wing and can be built out to sub 17 pounds.

    4 - 3/8” x 3/4” x 48” (top and bottom fuse)

    9 - 3/8” x 1/2” x 48” (4 for ron's, 1 for rudder, 4 for fuse)

    13 - 3/8” Sq x 48” (4 for L/E and T/E, 1.5 for rudder, 4 for ele, 2 for tab and 1.5 for ron's)

    4 - 1/4” Sq x 48” (4 for sub spars)

    3 - 3/16” x 3/8” x 48” (1 for rudder, 2 for ron's and ele)

    4 - 3/16” x 3/4” x 48” (3.5 needed for fuse, hard to get angals so 1/2 speair is ok)

    4 - 1/8” x 3/4” x 36” (canopy)

    8 - 3/32" x 3/8" (cap strips)

    3 -3/32" x 1" (end cap strip)

    7 - 3/8” Tri x 48” (1 for rudder, 4 for wing's, 2 for stab)

    1 - 3/16” x 4” x 48" (wing tips)

    14 - 3/32” x 4” x 48” (2 for T/E, 8 for L//E and sheer web's, 4 for center sheeting)

    4 - 1/16” x 4” x 36” (stab sheet)

    1 - 3/8” x 4” x 36” (gussets and stab)

    1 - 1/2” x 4” x 36” (fuse core)

    4 - 3/8” Sq x 48” hard wood (main spars)

    1 - 1/4” Sq x 48” hard wood (fuse and wing servo rails) 1/4" x 3/8" will be better

    2 - 3/8” x 1/2” x 48” hard wood (fuse core and stab joiner)

    1 - 1/2” x 12” x 12” ply (landing gear block and firewall)

Dang guys... the fellers on the pro bro site are eating these up like candy.

First shipment will likely be sold out before it gets here.

Gonna fly mine this weekend to remind me just how much fun it is.
