Awesome! What a treat!
I'll be there.... Gotta go keep Wrongway out of trouble...
Best of luck to ya !
Seriously, that's how I met Richard last year.
That's a ****ty job . . .
Al , I plugged the servo in with nothing on it and it make no noise at all.
that's good news:thumbsup:
what did you do,buy new servos?
Yes, switched out every hitec i own for savox and basically gave away the hitecs.
The 1st and 2nd pic`s are of the aileron. the next 3 are of the wing .
Got the hinges glued in the wing . When i get back from picking up syd from school i will finish up hinging the wing i have .
Need an opinion . Will these screws work ? Will they be strong enough for the control horns on the elevator , rudder and ailerons ?
i think they will be plenty strong,as long as they are mounted in some good strong blocks.i would even go as far to epoxy them into the blocks,so there is no chance for them to loosen.
They will be secured with lock nuts .
Would this be enough throw ?????
I would go with some black socket head screws- 8-32 nickle plated stuff like you have pictures isn't very good. Grab some with pliers and see how easy they bend/ break. I install hardware all the time- and have boxes of 8-32 stull like that, and the metal is more like "pot metal" or Tin than steel.
FWIW... IMHO and all that...
Got the second wing hinged. Will get the batteries and receiver mounted. Then I think all I have to do tomorrow is put on the control horns and set up the radio.
Throw them wings on and lets see a pic.
Well this looks like a jumbled up mess.
