Hey, that's purty cool. Bob should move a lot of those. I would end up painting them to match the covering, or skin of a Compy, but that's me. Do it!
Countersink the screw holes for a flush install.

CC...you would be right...this was a quicky polish job, and I didn't have the correct muslin wheels....can only find felt wheels, and they are too aggressive to do a nice job......but in my defense...I used to make badass custom jewelry, 14K, 18K, 24K, and Platinum shi t.....if I did too nice a job, it would detract from the plane in other areas....(that's my story, and I'm sticking with it) Just wanted to get a matching shine instead of the machine finish, since my Badger I "Polished" and the DA fuel dot is also. Getting a nice uniform finish with high grit, and hitting it with the rough would do nicely, but then, I'd probably miss stabbing it with the pin at some point, and that would just not be right!@
You should though, do a how to on alum polish....I'm sure a bunch of lurkers would like to see how to do it, plus, your not building your own plane at the moment anyhow. hahaha
    :prrr:

The Carbon plate....yes, counter sink the mounting holes. Maybe, a few different shapes too.
Personally, I would like a long aluminum rectangle, with all the holes in line, instead of double stacked.
But, by the time that might be available....I would have long mounted this one.

I just talk to him a couple of days ago...they are changing the access panels slightly.

The are going to make them thinner and lighter.

He said they should be available in 4-6 weeks from now. I am getting one asap

Ref the CF plate....My only concern is reliability in the mounting. The aluminum one is tapped...how do you intend to secure everything to the CF plate? The only way I see it happening is using epoxy to hold the nut on to the back of the plate

The carbon plate is tapped also and epoxy for added security. Will be testing it on air fame as soon as I get the other parts. :)

I some prototypes back of the revised units. They are lighter, thinner and a bit smaller. I think we accomplished this without changing the look. These are prototypes so they have some marks and scratches on them.

    Hi

Is the instruction sheet for the opti-kill available online? Couldn't find it on the website.

    Regards
    Michael

Sorry, you are right its not up there. Unfortunately I am out of the country and cannot e-mail you a copy until I get back. Do you have a specific question?

No, I figured out how it works. I'd just like to have the instruction sheet if possible.

Well I just installed your opti-kill switch - I'm impressed as this was my first time using your product.

Let me see if I can get the person that helped me with the new site do anything about it. This is an open-source cart called OpenCart but it can be configured. Thanks for the feedback.
