I'm a SmartFly fan too and use the EQ10 in my 40%er's. But, the new Powerbox offerings with integrated iGyro has caught my attention......until I noticed the price!

My friend became the owner of one of my previous airframes. Being new to Gas 1/4 scale, he added the Smart-Fly optic engine cut off. It was a good thing, because on the Re-Maiden, the new throttle linkage malfunctioned, and if were not for being able to kill the ignition, we would have been forced to fly around at 1/2 throttle, until either the plane ran out of gas, or ran out of receiver battery.
Another safety feature, if you were to loose radio signal, the optic kill would also shut off the engine.
For the $40.00 something, really can't afford NOT to have one, in my opinion.

I love smart fly products. I have some form of a smart fly product in every one of my planes. It may only be a switch but its still a smart fly product.

What do you guys think about the Micro 12G compared to a Powerbox Competition? I have both, trying to figure out which one to use on my 2.6 Compy Extra, 8711's everywhere, either Duralite 5200 Sentinels or 3600mah Lipo's. Still need to figure out the programming on the Powerbox.

I was going to make my own pin switch mount, but this is ready to go, with an "ON" status LED, and dual charge jacks.

I would appreciate feedback on the panels when you get them. I made about 35 in the first batch but I am going to have to see if I can use thinner aluminum plate and mill less as the bulk material cost per panel was very high and most was milled away. We are working on a redesign that will cut the waste but still provide the functions. Good time for feedback while we are in process here. Thanks.

Hi Bob! I was wondering if you sell the lock rings that come on the pin flag switches. I mangled one, and lost the other.
