I've got a Peakmodel 50cc Yak 54 with DLE 55. Very nice flying plane. Only got a couple dozen flights in before it got too darn cold. Seems like a nice plane, although the covering is some sort of ultracote knockoff. Very little pitch coupling, CF gear and good hardware. I used all the hardware except for fuel tanks and fugly servo arms.

Also, they ship for free from China. Comes USPS. I actually have a 50cc Pitts Python that I got from them as well.

Is it a Version 2 or Version 3?

I am tossing this model around.

A few things I do not like about it are:

The quoted wing area seems to small for a plane of this span.
The two piece gear, although CF, is going to fail sooner or later.
No tri-stock on the firewall box but it can easily be added.
No mention on the covering brand which means it is China Kote.
    And metric hardware sucks.

The things I do like are about it are:
CF wing & stab tubes, CF tail wheel, takes a cannister, removable stabs, fuse is recessed to fit wings, made for a rear carb engine, appearance is nice with a scale out line, good price from Mile High RC.

Since I am in Canada, American copy rights don`t mean much to me.

V3 All CF (no spinner incl.), larger tail surfaces.

Here are some pics from my Slick 540, build is very good and light! Wing has 2 CF bars from the wing tube to the tip. 1 piece CF gear nice hardware and not a friggin wrinkle anywhere! Need to fuel proof the firewall and check the glue but I am impressed. Paint finish is very good but not as good as my PAU Extra. (looks like clear was shot on it after color).

BTW packing was as good as any I have seen. In the pic above you can see my Extra compared to the Slick. The Slick has more side area I believe. The covering job is excellent and hardware looks good. I have a New DLE 55 inbound and just got some 7954s.. Did my best to help out the Black Friday sales figures ;)

This was bought from Aztech Models on their black Friday sale.... They are great to work with and I highly recommend them!

    Merry Christmas to ME!!

Brian, that is some of your handiwork in the background on the Extra. May need a package for the Slick :)

No, It is really close to the same size with more side fuse. It should KE really well. It is alot deeper and turtle deck is higher.

Beautiful looking model. Love those colors.

I was impressed with cyoung450`s EGAircraft Yak55, and this one looks just as nice.

I will be watching your build for sure.

I'll do one but I have some others to work on first. This one will probably be in Feb or March... I'll start a thread then.

Here's my EG Aircraft Slick 540 purchased from Aztech-aero.com

    http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1319344

The pics attached to this post are from the maiden.
Azhar, the owner of Aztech-Aero is standing over me and I'm readying the Slick for its maiden flight.

Oh and to clear up something, the covering isn't cheap chinese crap.
    Its genuine German Oracover.
