I read up on health articles all the time... come here to share when one really stands out.

First let me say that I have been to Poland twice in the last 8 years and I can and do eat all of the bread that I like over there with no allergic reaction (stuffed sinus) but one slice over here will shut me down for a day or three....

I understand that the strain of wheat here in the US is hybridized semi dwarf and different than what I ate over there but this article has some interesting points. -R-

    http://www.healthfreedoms.org/gluten-isnt-the-only-thing-in-wheat-making-people-sick/

“According to Dr. Seneff, desiccating4 non-organic wheat crops with glyphosate just before harvest came in vogue about 15 years ago. Interestingly enough, when you expose wheat to a toxic chemical like glyphosate, it actually releases more seeds. “It ‘goes to seed’ as it dies,” Dr. Seneff explains. “At its last gasp, it releases the seed.”

"I have been a wheat farmer for 50 yrs and one wheat production practice that is very common is applying the herbicide Roundup (glyposate) just prior to harvest. Roundup is licensed for preharvest weed control. Monsanto, the manufacturer of Roundup claims that application to plants at over 30% kernel moisture result in roundup uptake by the plant into the kernels. Farmers like this practice because Roundup kills the wheat plant allowing an earlier harvest.”

Yep, I've read about the glpho**** sprayed on grains, such as Oats for Cheerios, 3 days before harvest, to "Speed UP Processing"......
WHY the F would you spray this crap to kill a crop? Oh, that's right, to sell more product, and become a catalyst in the "health care business"
Make you sick intentionally, while you under the false belief, "Cheerios does a heart good"
USA.....Complete sellout to the American people.....F'n Sad.

Ernie, I'm right there with you. I tried ordering parts from OMP this morning, and almost got into an argument over why the economy is faltering. A rising tide should raise all ships, not jus the 1 in 100.

There is a very serious part of me looking to relocate in Europe. But then I remember how comfy I am here. Health risks notwithstanding.

I will be staying in Boise, and go visit for Vaca in January/Feb to take a break from the winter..........you should do the same for Europe.
Wait....in Europe, there are more topless women.......maybe I'll go to Europe instead.

Here is one I heard from the cashier at Fred Meyer yesterday:
A guy he knows, was doing a door to door survey at an old lady's house, and she left the room to answer the phone......the guy started snacking on a bowl of peanuts that were on the table....he kept snacking, until the bowl was almost empty..the old lady returns. The guy apologized for eating almost the entire bowl, and offered to replace them. She said not to worry, she can't chew the peanuts because of her teeth.......they were M&M's.

Speaking of midget.....my Realtor has a story....the "Short" details are, a "Small Person" was doing door to door surveys.....he stopped at a "Special" (Read, Mentally Retarded) half-way house.....where at first greeting, the "Challenged" person held the "Small Person" captive under the stairs in a hall closet for a couple hours, as he called my Realtor and said "Come over quick! I've caught a Leprechaun!!!" - True F-ing Story!

    F14 Unboxing :)
Got some Savox Micro Digitals on the way via Ebay/Amain (it was cheaper then going to their website!) To upgrade the Taileron servos.
Nice looking foamy.....ball bearing swivel in wing joint, looks like a carbon spar embeded. Should be fun while it lasts, lol.

    I did a little math:
Full Scale F14 cost, approx $38M
a nice Twin Turbine kit, perhaps 1/7th scale, $25K
    $25K x 7 = $175K......a bargain compared to Full Scale.
My Foamy, is approx 1/20th scale for a couple hundred. $200.00 x 20 = $4K if it were scaled up to 100%
    Or, $38M / 20 = $1,900,000.00 if price were scaled the same. :)
    $200.00 vs $1.9M.....heck, that's cheap!

Ok Damn......TopGun fever had bitten again, and JHH has an internet special, free shipping on kits....I've been wanting to build an A4 since the 1980's, when I saw Bob Violett's Blue Angles A4 in the Book, "Building and Flying Ducted Fan RC Aircraft" that I bought as a kid (at a now extinct San Antonio Hobby Shop, Mt View CA.) I still have the book, and it's falling apart.............Free Shipping.....F-it.....I finally ordered my A4 kit!
