    On my 100cc AW YAK I ran the Mejzlik 28 X 10 Carbon Fiber prop. I liked it much better than the 27 X 10. It really slowed the downlines and landings, and smoothed out the plane everywhere.

    Run the 27x10 since you got it.

    I think a 27X10 is what you would want to use.

    What plane is it for and how much does the plane weigh; also is the planes main purpose imac, freestyle or a mix?

    Freestyle = 27 x 10
    IMAC = 28 x 10
    IMHO

    It depends on the plane and the planes weight

    freestyle and imac 27x10th most likely

    light imac plane 28x10

    heavy imac plane 27x10 maybe 26x12

    but theres a ton of variable that have to be considered

    Dave Johnson SWEARS by the mejz 28X10 for all types of flying. I have one and flew one and it is a good prop for IMAC - spools up too slow for 3D, though. I had been using the mejz 27X10 for the longest time with good success, then I won a Xoar 27X10 at an IMAC contest. Gave it a try and hated it. It spooled up a little bit faster for 3D, but didn't bite very well or accelerate out of a hover very well.
    I am now flying a mejz 27X10TH and I am LOVING it. Spools up fast and bites hard and lets the 100 spin a little faster. Haven't tached it, but it sounds like it is spinning faster by a hundred R's or so.
    Of course, it is bolted to a 25-1/2 pound airframe so it doesn't have to do much work ;) but the other props were run on a plane equally as light or lighter.
    IMO if it is going to be a heavy plane, like over 27.5-28, I'd suggest the 28X10 just because you're gonna need it, and spool up ain't all that important if the plane's too heavy to react to it.

    I have to disagree. I used all these props on a qq 102 gen 4 at 27# 7 oz plane and a 28.5# H9 260 and 2 QQ pythons at 27 and 29.5# and the 28 10 lags. In a heavier plane the 28 10 shouldn't be your prop. I used the 27 10 th on it and the prop was really good prob the best but 27# isnt real a heavy plane. Tho on the heavier python the 28 10 felt better even with the slower up lines. all at ~ 1000 Asl . The most gas burned was 24g with the gen 4 yak with only a couple gallons per on the others

    Menz 28 x 8 :you get to go nowhere and make a lot of noise!! At any throttle setting! Personally I have tried and agree with the others, Mezjlik 28X10 for IMAC and 27X10 for 3D when flying a DA 100, A/C weight 26lbs or less.

    Yeah, the hubs compress much like a wood prop and they flex more.

    With the DA-100 I would stay with the 27 X 10 or you may want to try the Xoar 27 X 3D-A
