    I bought a new watch ....

    http://www.casio.com/products/Watches/Sports/SGW300H-1AV/

I walked into the watch store at the mall.... they had it listed for $75.00..

So I went to amazon.com on my iPhone, found the watch for $43.00,,, went back to the store and told the clerk, I would like to buy this watch... but a 45% disparity is too much.. so I ax'd him... "How close can you get?"...

he pulled out his calculater ... did a little figure'n and said $60.00 out the door....

    BINGO!!!

Prolly I paid ten'rfifteen more than if I online ordered... but what the heck... I had it now!!

Anyway.. this is a cool little watch.. has a built in Thermometer and altimeter/barometer...

    stopwatch, alarm.. blah blah blah....

I really like the casio watches....

I had one of the original Altimeter watches from Casio back in the early/mid '90's....

It was kinda fun to put it in a plane and see how high you went....

It fell off my wrist at the lake in 1999 when I was Jet-Ski'n :(

Nice! I've recently gotten into the habit of asking whether people can negotiate on items.

Most of the time I get a confused look.

Not wearing a watch for the last 3 years is part of my effort to simplify my life. I always have my phone with me so I just don't see the need. My "office" has a clock that is synced to GPS so it's pretty accurate

I broke my last watch in February last year. Since I carry a phone, have a clock in my auto stereo, and work with computers that all have clocks every day I never bothered to replace it. Since I change time zones a lot the phone takes care of time zone updates in most places. I was given an altimeter/compass watch a couple years ago and never used it. Too big. Like neckties, I find large watches to be too closely related to desired pecker sizing to be worth the effort.

However, leaving the house without my Skeletool Leatherman makes be feel incomplete.

Same issue here. I need knife. Don't need a phone or watch.

    Clocks are everywhere.
