Any build threads on them? They've been out for like 5 years, right? Jason Benson told me to check them out, so I did. haha Started a build thread about it on my blog:

    http://www.joehuntrc.com

Any videos of this plane on here, I only found a couple on youtube. Any build threads? Anybody else with one of these orange monsters? haha

Nice job on the build thread ! I haven't seen a good detailed build thread on here in quite a while. I'm going to be putting together an AW 35% Edge soon and since I haven't done a big build in a while it's great having thorough refresher course.

Welcome back to the hobby, Joe. I wonder if JB flies any more. He has two kids now and I haven't seen him at an IMAC contest in a LONG time.

The Hangar 9 3.1m Sukhoi is a VERY economical way to get a great flying, big, plane. We have a couple guys in IMAC that fly them. But IMAC doesn't make interesting videos.

    Hi team hitec guy! haha

I switched to 2" arms all the way around, and made some other adjustments... and now?... this plane is pretty awesome. :)

The 7950s glitched a few times today after a full charge on the LiPos... but I just flew it anyway and it didn't seem to mess up my flying style. haha

    Thanks, Gus!

Fellas, if everyone in the hobby was like Gus... the hobby would be a better place... that's all I'm saying. :)

    Ernie,

Questions such as the one you posed should be handled directly between the people involved. Use private e-mail or PM. The nature of a public forum and the people that use it is such that the question alone is inflammatory and would cause considerable open conflict between the readers.

Thanks, brother! I'm trying to catch up to industry standard. haha I've been working on high speed rolls and pop tops, but McBride only films ten seconds here and ten seconds there... when he's in the mood. haha And, that footage is only the low stuff... when I get 20' off the ground he shuts the camera off. :O So even though this is a plane designed for precision, there's no footage of that as of yet. Doh! lol Anyway, when I get the AW Yak55M finished I'll get my other friend out who will actually film an entire flight. :) I hope McBride is reading this. haha

Joe I flew mine for three years and finally parted with it this year. It is a great flying plane.
