I'm new here but thought I'd post some pictures of my newly completed comp arf pitts in sebart scheme.

    Running 3w 170 cs on 1090 pipes.

I know a few guys who have these back in europe and it sounds like it's going to take a fair bit of setting up to get dialled in but I know of at least one guy who's got his flying to a similar standard to his compy SX.

Nice! That scheme looks familiar... Is SebArt involved with this plane at all? In any case, you have one terrific looking biplane!

Thanks for the positive responses - really happy with how the scheme worked out. Hopefully should be able to maiden it tomorrow. This thing is maahosive. It's so tall it only just fits in the back of my expedition.

Running the 170 on 1090 pipes. I've heard some guys forecasting the end of the world if I try and run this combo but the test runs have been ok so far. Will find out if it sucks all gaskets, blows heads off or tries to murder my family when it's in the air I guess.

Anyone run a 3w 170 cs on pipes on here before? Sure there was a guy on DOD running this combo in a 3.3 yak..........

Cheers Dean - we all know being a Bird in the flying world is the way forward.

Got the mainden done today. 6 flights all in. Engine took some work but is getting there. First flight ended with a dead stick landing which was uneventful - managed to put it down next to my feet.

Plane tracks better than I expected it would but I still have some work to do getting it how I want it. It's mainly for all out freestyle but I need more run time, confidence and mid range in the engine first! This thing torque rolls easier than any plane I've flown so far and has so much drag that HA rolling stuff is pretty easy.

If I make the same progress tomorrow on the tuning front that I made today, this thing will be awesome by the end of the weekend!

Had good fun with it today.
