Yah, at lease I got some grass stains on the top of the rudder.
Looking good, BB!!!! Lots cleaner than mine, I must say. I think I might have put too much beef in the repair............. But it won't break there...... Just somewhere's else.........
Yes this plane was build by Cam. Cohen flew it pretty much for a year before the thumb fade
What do you have to loose? Its crashed now so trying to fix it is a great option. If you can't really pull it off then you still have a crashed airplane.
The real secret to the rebuilt is don't be scared to cut out the broken plywood. Also go all the way to a defined point so you can measure and rebuild back to what it looked like in China! Pick a former, gear plate, wing tube, whatever to build from. Just chose a spot that will stay and measure everything from there. Another tip is buy one of these suckers. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXK699&P=SM
You can get them at Home Depot. They take about 99% of the work out of chopping out broken plywood.
With a little imagination you will have that fixed in no time.
That and some other color stain down below.
