Man, I still remember when Monty only hovered his heli, 6 minutes at a time.
Dood, I gotsa get mine done!!! Yer killing me. Been so long since I crashed, I mean flew, I might have to get a trainer and start all over again.Yo Klown! Jaz let me fly the PAU 43% Edge ....that thing is the shiz yo! The blow overs Jaz was doing pivot on the wing tube and the inertia of that big ass long tail blowing over the top is something to see man.She was doing tight rolling circles low and locked in and inverted passes less than 2' off the deck on her maiden flight!!
Harriers are rock solid. Rolling harriers are sooooo f'n slow. I backed it down about 30 feet in a tail slideing torque roll... it was so locked in I could have backed it down on the deck from 100' up with out a wobble. Didn't want to heat that new 157 up though. Didn't wanna hand the sticks back ether! Buttface likes !
Or Candyman five times. Remember that movie? The guy that played the Candyman was a guy named Tony Todd. He and I shared a tent when we were put through a mini bootcamp for the movie Platoon. The f'cker had size 16 combat boots! :yikes:Butt - Sadly since we run out of fuel/battery so fast compared to your plane turns can be taken.
Clown - its like Beetlejuice. Write or say my name too many times and I pop up.
Yeah, I heard you got a nitro 600. They have a conversion kit for those, using a Zenoah 20. I think I'll be different, as usual, and use a DLE20. Nobody's done that yet. Should be cool, once I figure out the gearing.I'm flying nitro and electric now, just my engine has seen better days or I'd have put the nitro in the video.
Thanks.. it was a lot of work to edit and this was the best of the worst. On my wish list are a new camcorder and a zoomHQ for audio. I liked cutting it all up to get the different angles. The Low pass turned out nice going from cam to cam. Wish the Heli's were closer to a camera, but I got your NEON Awesome RC Hobbies T-Shirt in thereThe ending with the silhouette with the Sun looks really cool!
I understand what you mean. The GoPros were just layed on the ground, capturing what ever. When we pick up another camcorder, we'll capture a bit of what you dislike, but it will be edited so that there will be a variety of shots. Jazz's camcorder and Nikon camera were left out in a container that got soaked, actually drenched, submerged in a crazy rainstormat the FlyForTots event last September. I gotta save up and get a good camera too. Thinking of the Nikon D7000, which is the newer version of the D300S. I want a few lenses, one of them a 400mm telephoto overpriced, but worth it Nikon lense, like $3,200 or something.I have a comment....I do like the fact that you can see more of what's going on, with relation to surroundings and dimension, (unlike) the Higher Plane Productions TAS footage, where they zoom in soooo tight on the entire sequences, the average spectator has no idea what's going on....all they see is a plane twisting and turning, over and over. Without some reference to ground or other objects, one can't tell how fast the plane is traveling, or it's altitude. (I'm I the only one that feels I paid too much for the 2012 TAS Bluray?)
