Fun Fly Superstar!!
here are 2 pics of the old trailer, just went out back and snapped them. Using 4x8 sheets there were very few cuts. 4x8 floor, sides, and roof. The front is 4x4 and then I had fun making the doors... lol. I then added a plastic foot locker from walmart (~$30) and that stored fuel, batts, TX, containers of whatever I need in there at the time. I was able to get my old 35% Extra 260 with a ZDZ-120 in there with a 27% PAU Pitts Bulldog, and a Trex-600, EZ-up, table, cooler,etc... it was a tight fit and took some work, but kept me flying in a cost constrained time. Working hard and saving up (not to mention a tax return) and I was able to get the new one last spring. I'll revive the trailer thread soon as i've done a lot of modifications to the trailer so far and I think it will work nicely for the funfly circuit this year.

Now there is a queen size air mattress on the floor to sleep on, a small 3 drawer dresser for clothes and bathroom/shower stuff, stereo, 2 35% planes, 1 43% plane, 1 Trex600, wings, stabs, ground gear, tools, etc... just a few things to finish up. The goal when done is a "Hitch and go" setup. :)

Fun Fly Superstar!!
You could use a couple more burgers!! Lol.

DA's are a very low compression engine, compared to the monstrous 3W engines!!! You gotta flip the Dubs like you got a pair of nads, or like you mean it. ;)
I'll get a vid of the best way to start this engine the next time i'm at the field ;) LOL

Thanks for taking those pics. What a cute little trailer. It looks heavy with all that wood, but very functional.

Fun Fly Superstar!!
It really wasn't that heavy. I added the "nose wheel" from a boat trailer and made it easy to push around my level gravel driveway. I used 3/8" ply so it was light :)

Chix fly too
Hey girl. Very nice looking plane. I know we have not been formally introduced but I am one of the other girls on this site. Hi. I am Pam. I have seen some of your heli videos. You are awesome.
I just thought it was about time I said hey.
Hey to both of you too, I am another of the new girls here. I haven't read many of either of your posts yet, so excuse my lack of knowledge about who is who.

I am the same as you, Pam, serious transport issue at the moment. I can get a 50 cc inside my car witha an electric or two, and everything else bigger goes on the roof, not ideal.

I am thinking of buying van as a plane transporter, rather than a trailer. We don't really have the longer funfly events you have over there, so one night in a hotel on IMAC weekends is fine, everything else is a day out. I just don't fancy towing a big trailer all the time.

Nice fleet of planes, AverageBrunette, only slightly jealous. OK, mega jealous.

Bonjour!! :) You forgot to mantion your name... LOL I'm Jasmine (a.k.a. averagebrunette) and i'm an aircraftaholic. Your among good company here with lots of knoweledge on this site. A van works nicely. For a little while before I used an old conversion van. Plenty of room in there, I had 2 100cc's and a 50cc for Joe Nall 2010.
