But still..... What the hell is that........ Whats a powerbox and match boxes???
Fiddy- I have the powerbox instructions I can scan them and send'em to ya, or you could call Duralite and ask them to email you some. The programmer isn't that hard if you've ever programmed anything else, OR have the screen.
Anyway- powerboxes are good. Between the SF servo matching expanders like the EQ10 and the Powerbox they work about the same. Select a channel, which servo, and do the centers then at full deflection. Then you have to save your settings and move on to the next one.
If you need a hand, or want cliff notes on the exact process let me know.
I'll take any help I can get Cody!
That is some serious equipment
It's been a while, i'd have to read the intructions,. It is really easy, though, I remember that much. Gotta take a Heli ride up the Feather river canyon this AM, so can't see if I've still got the instructions......
Powerbox champion RRS instructions, pp8-9 are what you need, on their website.
Thanks Thor! I will look into it when I get back to California
I finally got the Ultimate back to flying condition, working on the 78" Extra as well... Should have both ready to go tonight.... Then time to start working on the Giles again....
Damn dude! I flaked! Im in texas now, but can still send that stuff to you if you need it. My old computer died a while back and I just got the new one up and running.
Don't worry about it, I ended up getting a decent mechanical setup.
Got some work done on the Giles today... Cleaned out the old hinge points, reglued a couple, and mounted the rudder once again... lost my covering iron, so I can't finish the covering yet.... Also, the new firewall is installed, I need to install the triangle stock and fuel proof.... pics of that when it's done...
Yeah Fiddy!!! Crack that whip! :willynilly:
Thor, which Savox servos are you using these days? I may try to save a buck and not buy the 7955's for the Giles...
The 2270hv are working well in the 91"Extra, but I think you can find 7955s cheaper. $89 if you buy four at Chief.
Jitters come free.......
Mark and I will be flying today if you can make it.........
Thanks for the invite, but I'm unable to get to the field this week..
I need to stop paying attention to life and get back to flying!
note to self, I might have to many hobbies....
We've just about given up on you..........
Mark and I were out yesterday, the VV40 is pretty nice on the new 78" Extra. C'mon out and try it.
I'm still working on setting up my trailer, but I will try to make it out on the 1'st
