I would mount the photo to a piece of prepared balso...use 3/32 stock....cut the balsa so it mounts on the outside of the dash....so what you not have in the plane is just a mounting face for the dash...paint the edges of the balsa flat black...mount your photo with 3-m contact cement to the balsa mount...then glue in the mount to the present frame....easy and light....V

I like that idea. That would keep any airflow from blowing the paper off the dash too.

I think I'll use 1/32" instead of 3/32" balsa. I need to paint the edge gray to match the dashboard.
