Well, it's about that time of year again guys and gals. Get ready for the 2015 Rocky Mountain 3D Throwdown! or RM3DT.

June 20-23, 2015 at the L.A.M.A. flying field in Dacono Colorado. This has become one of the only dedicated giant scale gas 3D events in the Region.

    $20 registration
    Overnight dry camping
    Access to hotels
    Electric night flying
    Sponsored pilot demo's
3 of the longest flying days of the season
    Hover bowling
    Battery charging station
    900' runway
Centrally located just off off I-25 and Hwy 52
    Cub Swarm
Lots of awesome people to talk to and fly with!

This year will be much like last year. We have dropped the raffle, sponsors, and lunch service to honor event attendees that want to fly without distractions. We will have one dedicated BBQ grill (cook your own), and stuff for burgers and brats available for a small donation. This is a grass roots event, and all are welcome to attend.

We are working on some new designs for shirts and stickers this year.

OK, so before I blow my current life savings buying T-shirts, I need some feedback from you guys-

Who wants a shirt, and what size? I'm doing a run of long sleeve T's, and regular T's. We were going to do screen printed , darker colored shirts, but the cost was insane- think $600/ 25 shirts. So, it looks like we'll be sticking with white, inkjet printed shirts for this year.

Who would like the new logo, and who wants the old one on the shirts?

How many would like stickers? New or old? Large or small?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I just wanted something different for this years T-shirts, and thought the Colorado flag was a good way to show pride in our state, and our event. One or two guys like the old design better. Feedback would be appreciated.

I like the new logo adding the Colorado flag was a good idea.
To bad on the colored shirts $24 is insane just to brake even.
I would take a long and short sleeve on shirts in medium to help support the club.
    Stickers new logo both sizes.
It's nice that LAMA lets us take over their field for the weekend Thanks to the club it's always a fun weekend.

    Thanks for the order Jim!

Ok, so far we have presold almost 30 shirts, which is good! I'm going to try and get 10 extra's to sell at the event.

Last nights LAMA meeting went well, and we are going to be all set for the event! Right now the runway is a little bumpy after all the rain, but in the next few weeks they're going to bring out a full size steam roller to even everything out for us!

The field looks like a park it's so green and grassy right now. Hopefully we will get to keep the grass as everything dries out the next few weeks!

To everyone coming to the event- make sure your friends know where and when so we can get some more spectators and pilots!

    T-29 days!

Had a great time. Dacona boys were very entertaining. Need to get them down to grand junction this fall. Lots of carnage 90% of them were dead sticks. Thanks Jerry for letting us steel electricity. I guess you don't need a generator if you have a long extension cord.

I had a lot more pics to upload but keep getting an upload failure notice.
You can see more at FG under the 3D throw down forum.
Much Much easier to upload over there. But my post didn't move the throwdown forum to the recently posted section.
