    2.4 went into fail-safe

No this was a 40% Extra 300. The receiver was mounted under the turtle back on a shelf. The wires were supported by tubing to hold them at different angles to each other. When it went into the last fail safe it leveled off and hit at a 30deg. nose down

    2.4 went into fail-safe

This is a interesting story. Last Sunday a friend flying a composite 3-w using a Futaba lost his plane. It went in and out of fail safe 3 time before hitting the ground. This is what we found at the wreck site. Both of the tips on the antennas were gone. The wires were supported by tubing but...

    Engines differences 150cc

A great man once said (hey TOM) "the best customer service is not needing it" Both are great choices, doesn't matter witch one you go with you'll be happy. Me, I ended up with 3-w. One is 12 years old and the other is 8 years old. They just work year after year. DA is the same way. Dennis

Stihl fuel injection. something new to play with

I agree with you. Just thought it was neat that something like this is out. But you have to admit when starting a turbine all you have to do is move the throttle up and down and then watch everything happen is too cool. When it's set up right.

That's why I come here. Most are smarter then me. Ask a question and get good answers, most of the time.

Stihl fuel injection. something new to play with

It was new to me and I'm not on FG so give me a break. This is the only place I've posted and all I wanted was some information. I guess I got it from a wiseguy.

Looks like it may not be that far away until our engines can have this. http://www.stihl.com/the-world-first-stihl-injection-electronically-controlled-fuel-injection.aspx

Tale of a Chinese 87" Edge

Brutus, you do get a good felling helping out. I had a old H-9 260 airframe that was 8 years old. It needed re-covering and lot of of TLC with glue. A friend asked what I was going to do with it and my price. He told me he was willing to put the work into it to make it first class. He really...

    Wheel chair ramp

On picture two we lowered the set-up table to the right height so they can work on their own planes. Dennis

We have two members that use wheel chairs. This is what the club did for them.

    Power needs for GS planes

I did some searching and found some 3 wire plugs that were rated at 10amp. that were small, but the crimping gun was a $160. Just couldn't justify the cost for twice a year. I do now soldier all my extensions but still have to use the servo plug in the receiver. I did find out that the Horizon...

    Power needs for GS planes

Sometimes to much information isn't needed. Now back to boobs or maybe oil.

    Battery drain and "Big Servos"

Red that also may be a factor in what Horizon told me. My last three planes really didn't need any trim. I do have my radio set at fine trim. Dennis
