Engines, Servo Set Up, Equipment Selection
For all the Newbies, and not so Newbies, that have questions relating to engines and aircraft set up, we've started this forum for you to ask questions without fear of ridicule. Ask what you will but please be specific as you can with questions to obtain the most accurate answer. The dumb question is the one you didn't ask that later bit you on the butt. If those invited to provide answers don't have them we'll ask others with that knowledge to step in.
The replies will come from people with years of experience and history in RC, having a desire to make your journey through the various facets of the hobby as painless as possible. This forum will not be manufacturer specific, but will candidly asnwers questions relating to specific products when questions are so directed.
Fair warning, product bashing will not be tolerated. Too many products have various qualities that make them desirable for people for different reasons, so we have to be fair and reasonable where brands are concerned.

Re: Engines, Servo Set Up, Equipment Selection
I have to dig out some photo spreads I did of hinge point gluing and engine templates some time back and post them in here. Perhaps make them thread specific to maintain a topic line.

Re: Engines, Servo Set Up, Equipment Selection
For those of you with questions on the RCexl ignitions here is the manual in picture format. The .pdf file was too large to upload.

Re: Engines, Servo Set Up, Equipment Selection
TOM I would like to see a step by step of adjusting the timing. I know alot of the China engines could benefit from this. I know mine did. May could post a printable degree wheel if thats possible.
