If you want redundancy, go with two 1100 A123`s into your RX. Then use one of your 2300`s for your ignition with a small reg to keep it below 6 volts if the manufacturer of your engine recommends it.
Two 2300`s for a 50cc ship is over kill and heavy.
I am running two 1100A123`s into a Spektrum AR9100 Power Safe RX.
The difference in weight between the twin 1100`s and the single 2300 I was running before is negligible.
I went with the AR9100 because it was not much more than a R921 and a extra remote RX, and it will handle a 100cc ship in the future.
I was using before a single 2300 into a HD switch with dual feeds into the RX for redundancy and shared current load. It worked great. Think of that set up since you already bought the batts. Use the other one for ignition.I just went to 2.4 from 72mhz, and had to get a new RX, so the Power Safe RX fit the bill.
