There have been a large number of DQ's this year for unsafe flight (too low). If you look at Kirbie's DQ in Perth, you can see air ripples in the water from his wing tip.

Whats the big mystery? As with all motorsports, there will be crashes and sometimes death. Just look at all the people who have died in drag racing and nascar. They're quite aware of the risks involved and to say it's irresponsible if they have kids is just ludicrous. So everyone who is a police officer should not have families? C'mon Mith... I hope you were joking.
It's amazing no one has died yet as low and fast as they fly..... just amazing.
