Default XOAR Carbon Fiber Tips

Whats the scoop on XOAR Carbon Fiber Tips props? I here this is a great prop for 3d. How does it compare to the Mejzlik 27x10TH prop (DA100).

What was interesting was that when i spoke with Xoar (booth) yesterday and they told me that the carbon tip prop was not a good prop for 3d????? they tried to sell me another 3d prop.

They sure do look cool though!

GmanBill says he likes the Eaglenose carbon props becasue they allow his plane to slip easier in a hover so his transition to geting the plane to hold in the hover is nicer.

Xoar was promoting the PJE 3D Beechwood prop for 3D flying @ the ama show. They claimed the carbon fiber tip was not intended for 3D flying.

I'll purchase one later down the road and try for myself.

Those Xoar props that I picked up from Bill are real nice. All the guys keep making comments on how pretty they look, I like them.

I love the Eagle nose for 3D, they work great and I guess the manufacturer doesn't know that they have a great product there. It is real nice for low speed, it works better than the one they say is great, I have almost every prop they make and have tried them all one time or another. And for spooling, I have seen no adverse or slower spooling, if anything it seems to spool better than the wide ones.

26X10, 27X10, and 32X12
All have been well tested and work great.
