I knew a guy once that plugged his ignition in to his SF power expander to eliminate using a separate battery to power ignition. He never had any interference. And honestly I don't know how! Is SF realy THAT GOOD! Thats a true story.
On one of my smaller planes I ran the ignition off of a pig tail on the same receiver battery, did this for weight savings. Never had a problem, range check engine on/off was excellent. All the switches, batteries, and RX were all within inches of each other. I don't recommend everyone doing this, but it worked fine for me.
