Wasn't a radio hit the Aileron servo exploded. Never found the fragments either.

I wonder about putting anything (like silicon tubing) over the antenna's. Has anyone checked with JR/Spectrum about this? The effect of doing that will be to alter the electrical length of the antenna. It's based on the dielectric properties of the material but what it does is make the antenna look electrically longer. It may not matter given the bandwidth of the receivers but it's worth asking the question.

I dunno about silicone tubes... but the range/reliability of my setup with plastic tubes has been 100%

I place air retract tube over my antenna to keep them straight and have had no problems.

I used heat shrink on mine and it has worked great.
