Just not typical. I use 400 on each pack each flight.

The only thing I do different from you is I solder the Deans first so I don't short it out. I like your balancer I'll have to get one. Where did you get your balancer at? I also tried the white shrink wrap and also the black I like the black better it seemed a lot heavier I bought both at Radical RC in Dayton Oh.

This is not a balancer, it' s a multicell voltage meter. I got this from Hobby King. They don't sell this one any more...

Where do you get your A123 2300 cells Tony? I like those tabs that are spot-welded on. Thanks, Joe

I bought these at Hobby King, see HERE.

If you linger on the page for a while, a popup comes and offers the batteries at $11.99 each!

Hi

Good to be back.
So, I've been running these awesome A123 for more than 5 years now, must say that they work just great for small and big birds.
On my first SD Yak 37.5% I run 2 A123 2300 mAh 14 servos and did more than 5 flights, well at last I made with these packs more than 1300 flights for more than 4 years.
Finaly I've changed them to the more bigger version 4600 and changed the plane as well for the Krill SU 29 37% .
Usually it took me 300 -400 mAh from each pack for about 10-12 minuts flight.
As for the ignition, I run the 1200mAh wich is not the A123 but the same tech, with a DA 150 it last for more than 8 flights, about 120 mAh a flight.
All batteries came from Fromeco.
That being said the flights were full 3D and IMAC.

As for checking them, I have a Kodiak switch that gives me +-100 mAh.
