In a moment of pure insanity I have gotten myself into building a Hemple 50% Cub. I spent a long time looking at the thread on FG with the problems and good things they have said. I will start posting pictures along the way. This is the beginning.

I made my own ignition cutoff switches, the single servo will cut both ignitions, it is mounted behind the firewall in front of the fuel tanks. The switch is shown in both positions

Some how I have gotten into trickle up, what did I do WRONG?
The last for today is the wheels. Other posts indicate that you should bush the wheels and replace the axle. I drilled the hub and pushed a brass tube into the hub sticking out about .025 on each side and replaced the axle with a grade 8 1/4-28 bolt.
I am working on fitting the cowl.
